Delete Topics

Deleting topics in EdrawMind helps refine your mind map by removing unnecessary content. You can remove a topic and turn its subtopics into separate topics, delete a subtopic without affecting its branch, or erase an entire branch.

Below are the different ways to delete topics from a mind map.

Delete a Topic Only

Select a topic and tap Delete current in the floating toolbar. Its subtopics will detach and become individual topics connected to the main idea.

Delete a Subtopic Only

Select a subtopic and tap Delete current in the floating toolbar. The subtopics below will move up to the same level.

Delete a Topic or Subtopic and Its Entire Branch

Select a topic or subtopic. Next, tap Delete in the floating toolbar to remove it along with all its subtopics.
