Bleach Timeline

Bleach's first season began airing in 2004, and the saga spanned 16 seasons in total. The story continued through a four-part sequel series, Thousand-Year Blood War, released in 2022. Bleach's storyline is complex. With its deep lore, sprawling cast, and time-jumping narrative. So, the best way to enjoy it is by following the storyline in the correct order.

Season 1 (2004-2005) - The first season introduces Ichigo Kurosaki, a punk kid who can see spirits. Ichigo meets Rukia Kuchiki and becomes a Soul Reaper.

Season 2 (2005) - The Soul Society is after Kuchiki and wants to execute her. Ichigo goes after the Society to save her.

Season 3 (2005-2006) - The third season features an epic battle between Ichigo and the Soul Reapers.

Season 4 (2006) - A new enemy arises called the Bounts. These are immortals who kill humans and live of their souls.

Season 5 (2006-2007) - The Bounts face off against the Soul Society in an attempt to establish their control over the worlds.

Season 6 (Early 2007) - Another new enemy, called the Arrancars, enters the storyline. The leader of this race is Sosuke Aizen, a Soul Reaper who betrayed the Society.

Season 7 (Late 2007) - Ichigo's friend, Orihime, becomes a prisoner of the Hueco Mundo. It is up to him now to save her. Orihime has unique healing abilities, thanks to the spirit fairies that support her.

Season 8 (2007-2008) - The fight in Hueco Mundo takes a darker turn as Ichigo and his friends face the best warriors of the Hollow world.

Season 9 (2008) - The 13 Court Guard Squads get a new captain. While his actions match the Soul Society's ideology, his intentions might be deceptive.

Season 10 (2008-2009) - Another battle begins between the Soul Reapers and the Arrancars. But this time, it looks like the end is nowhere near.

Season 11 (Early 2009) - This season reveals the backstory of several characters through flashbacks, including Aizen. Viewers find out who he really is and why he betrayed the Soul Reapers.

Season 12 ( Mid 2009) - The Karakura Town is attacked by Aizen, and the Soul Reapers must fight the Arrancars once again to protect its people.

Season 13 (2009-2010) - The Zanpakutō spirits feel neglected and mistreated by the Soul Reapers. They transform into physical beings and rebel against the Society.

Season 14 (2010-2011) - The season features a final battle between Ichigo and Aizen.

Season 15 (2011) - Ichigo has doubts that the Soul Society has been infiltrated by impostors. So, he starts investigating the Gotei 13.

Season 16 (2011-2012) - Ichigo has lost his powers and must work with Fullbringers to regain his status.

Thousand-Year Blood War- Part 1 (2022) - The Soul Society must fight a new enemy, Quincy Wandenreich.

Thousand-Year Blood War- Part 2 (2023) - The battle between Quincy and the Soul Reapers becomes intense. And while Ichigo fights the demons in his present, he must face the ones in his past.

Thousand-Year Blood War- Part 3 (2024) - The battle between Quincy and the Soul Society continues. It features key character deaths, flashbacks, and the introduction of Squad Zero.

Step 1Create A New File

• Log in to EdrawMind using your social accounts or create a new Wondershare account.
• On the left panel of your home screen, click Create to get started.
• Select Local Mindmap from the Blank Document menu.

Step 2Select Timeline Layout

We will use a top-down branch layout for this timeline.

• Select the Main Idea to reveal the floating menu.
• Click Layout to see the options.
• Select the third option from the Timeline layout.

Step 3Insert Heading

We want to use the series image as the heading. So,

• select the Main Idea and remove the text inside.
• Now, locate Insert on the top toolbar and click to reveal more options.
• Select Picture > Picture and upload the image as the timeline heading.

Step 4Customize the Main Topic

• Click on the first Main Topic
• Edit the text to match your timeline.

To change the color of the text box, click it for the floating menu.

• Select Fill and choose a color from the available options.
• Alternatively, you can change the text box's color by accessing the right editing panel.

• Click Border Color located on the right editing panel to change the outline of the text box.
• Select Weight and choose the fourth option from the drop-down menu.
• Remove the extra topics from the canvas.

Step 5Add Subtopics

• Click on the Main Idea and navigate to Layout on the left editing panel.
• Select the third option for Structure.

• Now, click on the Main Idea and press Tab to add subtopics to both sides.
• Edit the text according to the timeline.

Step 6Insert Image

• Click on the right subtopic and follow Insert > Picture > Picture to insert an image with the text.
• You can also adjust the image's position. Click on the image to access the floating menu.
• Select Location > Left to place the image before your text.

Bonus Step: Change The Image Shape

If you don't like the default square shape of the image, you can change it in EdrawMax.

• Simply select the image and click Crop to Shape from the menu.
• Choose a shape you like and copy this cropped picture back on EdrawMind.

Step 7Export Timeline Image

Continue adding the remaining Main Idea and Subtopics to complete the timeline.

• Click File in the top-left corner of the toolbar.
• Select Save to download the file in its default format.
